Forecast models from multiple sources project a daily high of 29–30°C in Shanghai on September 6, driven by persistent cloud cover, light rain chances around 40%, and moderate northeast winds that limit solar heating. These conditions align with early-September climatology, where average highs hover near 27°C but can reach the upper 20s amid lingering moisture. The market-implied odds heavily favor 30°C (50.5%) and 29°C (26.0%), reflecting trader consensus on the narrow range expected before any overnight model updates from agencies such as the China Meteorological Administration. Higher outcomes above 31°C remain low-probability given the stable steering pattern and lack of clear-sky intensification.
