Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” leads the VMA Best Country market with overwhelming trader consensus, fueled by its record-shattering Billboard Hot 100 run, multiple weeks at No. 1 across country charts, and dual nominations including Song of the Year. The track’s crossover dominance, self-directed video, and Langley’s leading CMA haul—including Single, Song, and Entertainer nods—have reinforced its frontrunner status ahead of the September 27 ceremony. The remaining nominees, including Lainey Wilson’s “Somewhere Over Laredo,” Kacey Musgraves’ “Dry Spell,” and entries from Luke Combs, Shaboozey, Stella Lefty, and Tucker Wetmore, trail significantly, reflecting limited recent momentum or precursor support in a category where chart impact and guild-level recognition typically decide outcomes.
