BTS’ “Swim” holds the clearest edge in trader sentiment for VMA Song of the Year 2026, buoyed by its strong Billboard Global chart run, sustained streaming numbers, and the group’s massive ARMY fanbase ahead of the September 27 ceremony. The track, the lead single from BTS’ Arirang album, also earned a Best K-Pop nod, adding to its visibility. The rest of the field remains tightly bunched, with “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters drawing on its prior awards momentum, while Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Bring Your Love,” Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” and Raye’s “Where Is My Husband!” each benefit from star power, genre crossover, or recent critical attention. As a fan-voted category with voting closing September 25, late surges in social engagement or streaming spikes could still shift outcomes among the seven nominees.
