The Cambridge, Ontario mayoral race for the October 26 municipal election remains closely contested among the six certified candidates after nominations closed on August 21. Incumbent Jan Liggett holds a modest edge in trader pricing over city councillor Scott Hamilton and businessman Ryan Bolender, while later entrants Tony Chaves, Ihtsham Haq, and Ken Roche register minimal implied probabilities. Recent withdrawals by Brian Kennedy and Shahzada Khan due to personal circumstances narrowed the field without consolidating support behind any frontrunner. With no public polling available and multiple candidates drawing on distinct local records, the absence of clear voter data keeps probabilities clustered. Scheduled town halls and the start of advanced voting in late September could provide early signals of voter preference in this multi-candidate contest.
