The Atlanta Braves enter their matchup against the Miami Marlins with strong recent form and a firm hold on first place in the NL East, backed by a potent lineup and effective starting pitching despite several key absences. Ronald Acuña Jr. remains on the 10-day injured list with a hamstring strain and is not expected back until late May, while Eli White sits on the 7-day IL with a concussion. The Marlins have dealt with their own pitching injuries, including relievers on longer-term lists, and continue to trail in the division standings. Recent head-to-head results favor Atlanta, which has taken series from Miami this season, though Miami’s improved road performances in April highlight their potential to stay competitive in interleague play. Home-field advantage and bullpen stability remain central factors for both clubs heading into the contest.
