This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Bobby Witt Jr. leads trader consensus at 55% as the defending AL Platinum Glove winner, buoyed by his sustained elite shortstop defense for the Royals, including strong 2026 fielding metrics across opportunities, double plays, and advanced metrics like Outs Above Average that build on his prior dominance. Ceddanne Rafaela sits second at 11.5% on the strength of his standout center-field play for the Red Sox, where he ranks among AL leaders in innings and defensive value. Other contenders such as Wilyer Abreu, Dillon Dingler, and Cody Bellinger trail due to solid but narrower positional impacts reflected in current Gold Glove positioning and roster data. The market reflects the wisdom of crowds weighing ongoing season-long defensive contributions and historical voting patterns for the league-wide honor.
