In the rubber match of a tied three-game series at American Family Field, Milwaukee Brewers lefty Kyle Harrison (3-1, 2.41 ERA) faces San Diego Padres righty Griffin Canning, who seeks his first win in his third start since an Achilles tear recovery. Padres stole momentum yesterday with Gavin Sheets' ninth-inning three-run homer for a 3-1 victory after Brewers took the opener 6-4, snapping Milwaukee's home win streak. Brewers DH Christian Yelich remains day-to-day with back tightness after activation from the injured list, while both clubs vie for NL Central and West positioning around 23-17 records. Harrison's command gives Milwaukee a home edge in this evenly matched interleague clash.
