You can enter if you meet Polymarket’s restricted-persons policy. No separate sign-up is needed—open a new position in an eligible market during the competition to enter automatically.

Eligible markets are announced before the competition starts. Markets listed after the start count only if Polymarket adds them.

Your score combines your profit or loss (PnL) with your boosted notional volume:

Score = PnL × √Boosted Volume

Volume: The total notional value of filled trades on eligible positions, including trades that open or close positions and liquidations. Both maker & taker trades count.

PnL: Your realized & unrealized gains or losses after fees & funding. Funding received & maker rebates increase your PnL; funding paid & fees reduce it. Open positions are valued at the mark price when the competition ends, so you don’t need to close them.

Boosts: Market boosts multiply the volume used in your score. For example, a 3× boost counts $100 in notional volume as $300. Eligible markets without a boost count at 1×. Boosts don’t change your PnL.

Ties are broken by higher boosted volume, then by the earliest first qualifying trade.

Trade at least $100K in notional volume on eligible positions during the competition to qualify for the leaderboard & prizes. To win a prize, you also need a positive PnL.

Notional volume is your total trade value, including leverage. For example, $5 in margin at 20× leverage counts as $100 in notional volume.

Boosts increase the volume used in your score but don’t count toward the $100K minimum.

Only new positions opened in eligible markets during the competition count. Trades must fill between the competition’s start & end times, shown in your local time (UTC on hover).

Positions you already held when the competition started don’t count. Trades on those positions—including additions & the closing portion—are excluded from your volume, PnL & qualifying minimum. Fully close an existing position before opening a new one in that market to start counting.

If a trade closes an existing position and opens one in the opposite direction, only the new position counts. For example, if you switch from long to short, only the new short position counts.

Closing a position after the competition ends won’t change your score.

The top 50 traders share the prize pool. After the competition ends, the team reviews the results before announcing winners. The review takes approximately 7 business days.

Prizes are paid automatically in pUSD to your Perps account. We may ask you to verify your identity before paying a prize. You can win 1 prize per competition.

Manipulating the competition—including wash trading, self-trading, or using multiple accounts to manipulate results—may disqualify all associated accounts.

Polymarket may change, pause, or end the competition, adjust scoring, withhold prizes, or disqualify participants at its discretion. See Full rules & terms for details.
