Apple’s anticipated foldable iPhone, expected alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models at the September 9 event, drives trader focus on announcement pricing. Consistent analyst and supply-chain reports peg a starting price near $2,000–$2,100 for base storage, with higher tiers reaching $2,500–$2,900, reflecting premium OLED displays, advanced hinge engineering to minimize creasing, and an A20-series chip. This positions the device above Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 while matching Apple’s history of charging for novel form factors. Limited early production volumes and the new CEO transition add uncertainty around exact launch timing and final configurations, though September unveiling remains the consensus catalyst.
