Recent forecast model consensus from sources including the Korea Meteorological Administration and international ensembles points to a highest temperature in Busan on September 17 near 25–26°C. Persistent northeasterly winds at 15–20 knots and increasing cloud cover are expected to limit daytime heating under stable high pressure. This setup aligns with typical mid-September climatology for the region, where average highs hover around 26°C. Trader consensus favoring 27°C (61.5% implied probability) and 28°C (34.5%) likely reflects residual uncertainty in afternoon clearing or slight model spread that could allow brief warming spikes. Low odds on 29°C+ or sub-26°C outcomes underscore the narrow expected range, with resolution hinging on official hourly observations from Busan stations. Updated model runs overnight will provide the next key data point.
