**Current forecasts from NWS-aligned sources and major models indicate a minimum temperature in the upper 70s for Dallas on September 3, 2026, with most guidance centering on 77–79°F.** This reflects ongoing southerly flow, high humidity, and limited nocturnal cooling under partly cloudy skies with a 20–50% chance of showers or thunderstorms, which can suppress radiative cooling. Atmospheric conditions feature typical early-September warmth, with dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s supporting overnight lows well above the 1991–2020 climatological average of ~74°F. No strong cold front or northerly surge is expected in the 48-hour window, keeping the risk of a dip to 69°F or below low despite the market’s ~32.5% implied probability for that bin. Conversely, the chance of an unusually warm minimum (84°F+) remains minimal given model consensus on modest overnight drops. The closely matched leading probabilities (78–79°F at 33%, nearby bins 25–32%) capture genuine short-term forecast uncertainty in exact timing of cloud cover, precipitation, and wind speeds, which can shift the minimum by a degree or two. Traders are weighting official NWS and ensemble guidance heavily, with real-money positions reflecting the narrow but non-zero range around the current consensus low. Updated model runs and NWS briefings over the next 24–48 hours will likely tighten resolution criteria around the 77–79°F threshold.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kdal
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
