Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a daily minimum near 58–60°F for Denver on September 9, driven by clear to mostly clear skies overnight that promote efficient radiational cooling at the city’s 5,280-foot elevation. Light variable winds and low humidity further support this range, consistent with the normal diurnal temperature swing of 25–30°F under high-pressure conditions. Trader positioning clusters tightly around 58–61°F because ensemble spreads and local urban heat-island effects create genuine uncertainty of a degree or two, while cooler outcomes near 54–55°F would require stronger northerly flow or earlier cloud cover than current guidance shows. Updated NWS briefings and next model runs will likely narrow the distribution before final observation.
