Current National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance point to a Monday minimum near 65°F in central and coastal Los Angeles, driven by persistent onshore flow and a strengthening marine layer that favors overnight cloud cover and fog. Recent climatological data show typical early-fall lows in the mid-60s, with no strong offshore winds or clear-sky radiative cooling expected to push temperatures notably lower or allow warmer advection. Trader emphasis on the 68–69°F bin reflects the narrow historical distribution around this seasonal baseline, while wider bins capture residual forecast uncertainty from model spread on exact marine-layer depth and timing of clearing. Final resolution hinges on official overnight observations at the primary reporting station.
