Francesca Hong holds a narrow lead in trader pricing for the Milwaukee County portion of Wisconsin’s August 11 Democratic gubernatorial primary, while David Crowley trails and the remaining field sits near even. The contest remains tight because Crowley, the Milwaukee County executive, draws concentrated local support as the more moderate alternative, yet Hong’s statewide polling edge and progressive base extend into the county. Recent candidate churn—including Crowley’s re-entry after earlier withdrawal—combined with limited time before voting, has kept voter preferences fluid and prevented decisive separation. Upcoming primary-day turnout patterns and any final endorsements or debate fallout could still shift county-level shares before resolution.
