Their first head-to-head lacks precedent, but Munar enters off a competitive third-round loss to Matteo Arnaldi at the Rome Masters, showcasing baseline grinding suited to the surface. Dzumhur, 9-16 YTD amid a tough 2026, gained momentum with a gritty 2-1 upset over local Alejo Sanchez Quilez in the prior round. No injuries reported; expect extended rallies favoring Munar's topspin and endurance, though Dzumhur's resilience could test the Spaniard in Valencia conditions.
