Recent forecasts for Cape Town show daily minimum temperatures on September 3 clustering around 11–13°C amid a frontal system bringing showers and southeasterly winds, consistent with early-spring climatology influenced by the Benguela Current. Model runs diverge modestly on timing and intensity of cooling, with some projecting brief dips toward 10°C or lower under clearer skies while others hold near 12–14°C under persistent cloud cover. Trader odds reflect this narrow spread plus tail risks from forecast revisions or localized cold-air pooling near Table Mountain, producing closely matched probabilities across the 7–17°C range rather than strong consensus on any single threshold. Updated guidance from agencies like the South African Weather Service will likely tighten these ranges ahead of resolution.
