In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by FIFA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the nation whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Fair Play Award market for the 2026 World Cup shows tight clustering among several contenders, reflecting trader consensus on teams with proven disciplinary records and low card rates from recent qualifiers, Nations League matches, and friendlies. Squads emphasizing tactical discipline, possession-based styles, and minimal aggressive challenges historically accumulate fewer yellow and red cards, directly boosting their fair play points under FIFA's deduction system. Coaching priorities around clean play and experienced rosters further support their positioning, while the unpredictable nature of tournament intensity, refereeing variations, and potential late injuries keeps outcomes fluid among the bunched group.
