The Chinese player has maintained strong recent form, advancing deep in multiple WTT events and claiming the Taiyuan title, while Shinozuka, the Japanese left-hander ranked near the top 30, reached the Skopje semifinals in early June before falling to Kanak Jha in five games. Their June 12 WTT Men’s Singles matchup highlights contrasting styles—Wen’s power baseline versus Shinozuka’s spin variation and consistency—with home-nation depth and recent momentum favoring Wen in trader assessments of implied probabilities.
