The 29-year-old Czech brings tactical experience suited to the surface, while 22-year-old McCabe arrives ranked around 233 after a stretch of Asian hard-court matches that may require quick adaptation to the heavier conditions in Paris. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the outcome likely turns on McCabe's ability to handle Kolar's steady pressure and capitalize on any early opportunities in the best-of-three format.
