Ozan Baris faces Duncan Chan in the quarterfinals of the ITF M25 Wichita on outdoor hard courts. Chan holds a clear ranking edge at approximately No. 670 ATP compared to Baris near No. 970, reflecting stronger recent professional results on the ITF circuit and Challengers. Both players are recent college standouts—Baris from Michigan State with multiple ITA All-America honors and Baris advancing via a wild card after a straight-sets opening win over Justin Boulais, while Chan from TCU posted a strong dual-match record and reached deeper in prior M25 events. The hard-court surface favors their baseline games, with no prior head-to-head and limited rest factors at this stage of the draw shaping the matchup.
