**Forecast models indicate a sharp cooldown for Munich on September 9 driven by an incoming Atlantic low-pressure system and associated cold front, replacing the warm, mostly sunny conditions of September 8.** Widespread cloud cover, steady rain, and westerly winds of 10–16 km/h are expected to limit daytime heating, with consensus highs clustered between 19–22 °C across sources such as the German Weather Service analogs, GFS, and ECMWF runs. Light-to-moderate precipitation (8–12 mm) and high humidity will further suppress the daily maximum by enhancing evaporative cooling and reducing solar insolation. Minor differences among leading outcomes stem from uncertainty in the exact timing of heaviest rain and any brief clearing that could allow a late-day spike toward 22 °C versus sustained overcast holding the peak near 19–20 °C. Historical September averages near 19 °C provide context, but the active frontal passage introduces short-term forecast spread that keeps trader probabilities closely matched.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=eddm
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
