Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to overnight lows of 71–75°F in Central Park on September 10, driven by a warm, humid southerly flow ahead of a weak front, with dew points near 70°F limiting radiational cooling under partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers. This setup favors the market’s leading 74–75°F bin (36.5% implied probability) and adjacent 72–73°F outcome, well above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 63.5°F. Earlier September cooling to the low 60s has given way to this milder regime, with latest model runs showing little change through the overnight period and minimal risk of stronger northerly advection before dawn. Traders are therefore concentrating probability in the narrow 72–75°F window while assigning only modest odds to cooler or warmer extremes.
