**Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a Friday minimum temperature in the upper 60s to low 70s°F for New York City, aligning with the market's heaviest trading on 68–71°F bins.** Northwest flow behind a frontal passage is promoting gradual clearing and drier air, supporting modest overnight radiational cooling after daytime highs near 80–81°F. Ensemble guidance shows limited spread, with most runs clustering the daily minimum near 69–70°F at Central Park and airport sites; this consensus underpins the 42.5% implied probability on 70–71°F and 29.5% on 68–69°F. No significant model shifts have occurred in the past 24 hours, and the primary uncertainty remains minor variations in cloud cover or wind speed that could nudge the low by 1–2°F either side of the leading range.
