Recent National Weather Service and model guidance points to a low around 56–57°F for San Francisco on September 6, driven by persistent onshore marine flow and a stable marine layer that promotes radiational cooling under partly to mostly clear skies. This aligns closely with the long-term September 6 average low of 56.1°F and typical late-summer conditions influenced by the cold California Current. With no incoming troughs or strong offshore winds expected, the forecast shows limited spread across runs, though slight variations in cloud cover or wind speed could shift the overnight minimum by a degree or two. Official observations from downtown stations will determine resolution, and traders appear to weight the upper end of the consensus range most heavily given the steady pattern.
