Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and models project Miami's overnight low near 80°F on September 3, driven by persistent southeast winds, high dew points near 78°F, and widespread thunderstorm activity that limits radiational cooling under humid tropical air. This pattern aligns with the market's tight spread between the 80-81°F (39.5%) and 78-79°F (38.0%) outcomes, as minor shifts in cloud cover or storm timing could nudge the minimum across that threshold. Historical early-September averages near 77°F highlight how elevated moisture and lack of frontal passages are sustaining warmer nights, with traders weighing NHC guidance and local model runs ahead of the day's resolution.
