Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate Seattle’s minimum temperature on September 10 will likely fall in the mid-50s °F, driven by clear to partly cloudy skies overnight, light northerly winds, and moderate radiative cooling under high pressure. This aligns with climatological norms (average low near 54 °F) and recent September observations showing overnight lows of 52–58 °F. Trader sentiment, reflected in elevated implied probabilities for 58–59 °F, 56–57 °F, and warmer buckets, incorporates uncertainty from potential model shifts in cloud cover or wind that could alter cooling rates before the daily minimum is recorded at the official Seattle-Tacoma station. Updated NWS guidance and the next model runs remain the key near-term catalysts.
