This market will resolve to "Yes" if any NATO or EU member country officially announces that they will be sending troops to Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping force by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise this market will resolve to “No”. A qualifying announcement must be part of a formal agreement between a NATO or EU member country and another country or international organization or otherwise indicative of a formalized policy. Announcements which are statements of intent, contingent, or otherwise are not indicative of a formalized policy will not count The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from NATO, the EU, or member states of either entity, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. This market will resolve to "Yes" if any NATO or EU member country officially announces that they will be sending troops to Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping force by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. UK and French leaders signed a January 2026 declaration of intent outlining potential troop contributions for post-ceasefire deterrence and training, yet conditioned it explicitly on Russian agreement to halt hostilities. NATO and EU officials continue to emphasize coordinated military aid packages exceeding $60 billion for 2026 without referencing ground forces, while peace negotiations remain paused amid broader regional tensions. Traders assess low near-term odds because official announcements require both a diplomatic breakthrough and domestic political approval in contributing capitals, factors that have shown no decisive movement in recent weeks.
