Goldman Sachs holds a slim lead over Morgan Stanley in market-implied odds for lead left bookrunner on Anthropic’s anticipated October 2026 IPO, reflecting both banks’ selection as top bookrunners following the company’s June 2026 confidential S-1 filing and their dominance in large tech offerings. Traders price in Goldman’s recent “lead left” role on the SpaceX deal and established AI-sector relationships as key edges, while Morgan Stanley’s comparable positioning in high-profile IPOs keeps the contest tight. JPMorgan’s minimal share stems from earlier exploratory talks without confirmed top-tier status. The dueling fall timelines with OpenAI underscore the high-stakes allocation decisions ahead, with any public S-1 release or roadshow updates likely to influence positioning before resolution.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
