Latest National Weather Service forecasts for New York City point to overnight lows in the upper 60s on September 9, aligning with the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 66–71°F outcomes. Southerly flow and partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected to limit radiational cooling under high pressure, while regional model consensus shows minimal overnight drops compared to clearer, calmer conditions that could push readings lower. With resolution depending on the official Central Park minimum, traders are weighing small forecast adjustments from upcoming model runs against historical early-September variability of a few degrees.
