**Trader consensus has locked onto the 82-83°F bin at essentially 100% implied probability following the official National Weather Service observation of a 82°F daily high at Central Park on September 9, 2026.** This reading comes directly from the preliminary local climatological data (CF6NYC) issued by NWS New York, which serves as the authoritative source for such markets and aligns with nearby station reports showing highs in the low 80s under partly cloudy skies and light southerly flow. The value sits modestly above the 1991-2020 September 9 average high of 78.8°F but well below historical extremes like the 94°F record from 1915, reflecting typical late-summer conditions without significant heat advection or blocking patterns. With the observation date now passed, resolution hinges on this verified measurement rather than models or forecasts; only a rare post-hoc data revision or station-specific discrepancy would alter the outcome.
