**Trader consensus on the Wellington highest temperature market centers on a 13–14°C peak for September 10, reflecting official MetService guidance and ensemble model consensus for a day of northerly flow followed by a frontal passage.** Morning temperatures are expected to climb under strengthening northwesterlies before a cold front shifts winds southerly around midday, bringing widespread rain, stronger gusts, and cooling that caps the daily maximum. Historical September climatology in Wellington shows typical highs near 14°C, with rapid changes common due to the region's exposure to Southern Ocean systems. Current model runs from multiple centers align on a narrow 12–14°C envelope, leaving limited room for outliers above 15°C or below 12°C unless the front timing shifts substantially. Updated forecasts and any last-minute model adjustments will be the key near-term catalysts for price movement.
