This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 11 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=wsss If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Current forecasts and climatological context point to a minimum temperature around 26–27°C on September 11, 2026, consistent with the ongoing Southwest Monsoon and below-average rainfall outlook.** Official guidance from Singapore’s Meteorological Service indicates minimums are likely to stay above 27°C on most nights during the first half of September, driven by southeasterly to southwesterly winds, relatively dry conditions, and limited nocturnal radiative cooling under humid, often cloudy skies. Historical September averages at Changi show a mean daily minimum of 25.2°C (1991–2020), with nighttime lows rarely dropping below 23–24°C even in drier periods. Key differentiating factors include cloud cover and shower timing, which modulate longwave radiative loss, and boundary-layer moisture that suppresses cooling rates. Recent model runs and short-range forecasts show lows near 26–27°C (roughly 79–81°F), with localized thundery showers possible in the afternoon but limited overnight impact. The market’s closely matched leading outcomes (31°C or higher at 45.0% and 21°C or below at 41.5%) reflect uncertainty around exact nocturnal conditions and measurement precision at official stations, though sustained dry monsoon flow makes extremes in either direction less probable than near-climatological values around 25–27°C. Updated forecasts closer to the date will provide the clearest signals for resolution.
