Keir Starmer’s upcoming PMQs performance will likely center on navigating heightened international tensions, including UK responses to the Iran conflict and pressure from US President Trump over trade and military involvement. Recent sessions have highlighted Starmer defending increased defence spending to 2.6% of GDP and clashing with opposition leaders like Kemi Badenoch on welfare reforms and historical military cuts, while Speaker interventions underscore efforts to stay on topic amid questions about national security and economic impacts. Domestically, momentum builds around tech regulations targeting explicit content for minors and rebuilding European ties, alongside ongoing Ukraine support and a long-awaited defence investment plan. Traders are watching for how these storylines evolve ahead of the next session, with outcomes hinging on fresh parliamentary exchanges and any breaking developments in foreign policy or domestic priorities.

Any usage of the term regardless of context will count toward the resolution of this market.
Pluralization/possessive of the term will count toward the resolution of this market, however other forms will NOT count.
Instances where the term is used in a compound word will count regardless of context (e.g. joyful is not a compound word for "joy," however "killjoy" is a compounding of the words "kill" and "joy").
