Incumbent Republican Brian Jack faces Democrat Maura Keller in the November 3, 2026 general election for Georgia’s 3rd congressional district, a seat Jack won by double-digit margins in the prior cycle. Georgia’s election rules require a candidate to exceed 50 percent of the vote to secure an outright victory and avoid a runoff. The district’s consistent Republican tilt, limited field of only two major-party candidates, and absence of vote-splitting dynamics from additional contenders underpin trader expectations of a first-round majority. Recent primary results showed Jack advancing without a runoff challenge, reinforcing the pattern of decisive outcomes in this area. While the implied probability for an outright winner stands near 96 percent, factors such as an unforeseen national political shift, candidate withdrawal, or late-breaking scandal could still narrow margins enough to trigger a runoff.
