In Georgia's strongly Republican-leaning 14th district special election to fill the vacancy created by Marjorie Taylor Greene's departure, traders priced an 81.5% chance of an outright first-round majority on March 10 because the district's partisan tilt and expected Republican vote consolidation around endorsed candidates like Clay Fuller favored one contender clearing 50%. Multiple Republican entrants split support, however, preventing any candidate from reaching a majority despite the party's overall dominance and allowing Democrat Shawn Harris to advance to the April runoff alongside Fuller. Primary results and candidate filings showed limited crossover or turnout dynamics that could have produced a decisive first-round outcome under Georgia's nonpartisan special election rules.
