Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private sources indicate mostly sunny skies and light northwest winds over Atlanta on September 13, supporting a daily maximum in the upper 80s to low 90s. These conditions follow a period of above-average September warmth across the Southeast, with recent high-pressure ridging limiting cloud cover and precipitation chances to under 20 percent. Official guidance centers on 89–92°F, aligning with the market’s heaviest trading on the 90–91°F bin. Light surface winds and moderate dew points should allow efficient daytime heating without significant mixing or convective interference. Updated model runs and local observations through the morning will refine the exact peak before resolution.
