Kris Kobach holds a 61% implied probability as the Republican incumbent seeking a second term against Democrat Chris Mann in the November 3, 2026 general election, a rematch of their 2022 contest that Kobach won by 1.6 points. Both candidates advanced unopposed in August 4 primaries. Recent campaign finance reports show Mann raising substantially more early funds than Kobach, while national groups including the Republican and Democratic Attorneys General Associations have committed significant outside spending. Sabato’s Crystal Ball recently shifted its rating from likely Republican to lean Republican amid broader midterm dynamics. These factors explain the market’s positioning of Kobach as the leader while keeping the outcome competitive rather than decisive.
