**Trader consensus centers on a 64-65°F daily minimum (67.5% implied probability) for Los Angeles on September 5, 2026, reflecting National Weather Service and model guidance for a typical early-September coastal low.** Persistent onshore southwest flow and a shallow marine layer have moderated overnight temperatures, with recent observations at LAX showing minima in the mid-60s (e.g., 64°F on September 2 and 66–67°F on adjacent days). Forecasts consistently project a low near 64–67°F under partly cloudy conditions, aligning with the September climatological average of ~63.7–64.5°F. Higher outcomes (66–67°F at 30%) gain traction from slightly warmer model runs tied to increasing clouds and a 20% shower chance after midnight, while cooler bins remain lower-probability absent a stronger marine push or clear-sky radiational cooling. NWS point forecasts and ensemble consensus continue to anchor expectations near the 64–65°F threshold, with final resolution hinging on official 24-hour minimum observations from primary stations.
