This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Toronto Pearson Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 6 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=cyyz If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Recent official forecasts from Environment Canada and multiple meteorological models position the highest temperature in Toronto on September 6, 2026, most likely in the 22–25 °C range, aligning closely with the market’s leading implied probabilities (23 °C at 47 %, 22 °C at 28.5 %, 24 °C at 19 %).** As of September 4, high-pressure dominance and easterly to northeasterly flow are expected to deliver mostly sunny skies with minimal cloud cover and negligible precipitation chances, supporting modest daytime warming. Environment Canada currently projects a high of 25 °C under clear conditions, while several global and regional models cluster nearer 22–23 °C, reflecting typical late-summer variability and slight model spread in maximum temperatures. This range sits near the 1991–2020 climatological average high of approximately 23.8 °C for the date, with no significant warm or cold air advection or frontal systems indicated in the latest guidance. Traders appear to have incorporated the stable forecast consensus and low uncertainty into the tight clustering around 22–24 °C, while assigning lower weight to outliers outside this band. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will be the key near-term catalysts for any shifts in these market-implied odds.
