Recent observations from Central Park and area stations confirm a minimum temperature of 60–61°F in New York City on September 15, 2026, under clear skies and light southerly flow that prevented significant radiational cooling. This outcome aligns with the long-term average low near 62°F for the date and reflects the absence of any cool-air advection or frontal passages in the preceding 48 hours. Official National Weather Service data and model guidance had converged on this narrow range days earlier, giving traders strong evidence to price the 60–61°F bin at 97.5% implied probability. Only an unexpected measurement revision or station-specific anomaly could realistically alter resolution.
