Recent Swedish opinion polls through early August 2026 show the Sweden Democrats (SD) maintaining a consistent lead over the Moderate Party (M) in projected vote share for the September 13 parliamentary election. Multiple surveys from Demoskop, Novus, and Indikator place SD near 20% and M around 17%, with the gap holding steady across summer fieldwork periods. This positioning reflects SD’s established second-place standing behind the Social Democrats, while M trails as the leading government party under the Tidö framework. Traders’ 82.5% probability for SD outpolling M aligns directly with these repeated polling outcomes and the absence of late shifts that would narrow or reverse the margin.
