**No** leads at 88.5% because the June 17, 2026 U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding, which outlined a 60-day window for a final nuclear and sanctions agreement to be endorsed by the UN Security Council, collapsed without producing a deal. Hostilities resumed, the Strait of Hormuz remained restricted, U.S. sanctions waivers were revoked, and the August 17 deadline passed with no substantive final accord. As of mid-September 2026, talks remain stalled amid unresolved issues over Iran’s nuclear program, IAEA verification, regional proxies, and sanctions relief, with no scheduled path to a binding UNSC resolution by year-end. Traders view the short remaining window and persistent diplomatic and security barriers as making endorsement highly improbable.
