The GDP release will be made available here: https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/main/news/euro-indicators If no data for the specified quarter is released by the date the next quarter's data is scheduled to be released, this market will resolve based on data from the last available quarter. Note: data from the initial release of the referenced flash GDP report is what will be used to resolve this market. Data may be revised during the following quarter or as a part of the next estimate's publication, however any revisions to GDP report data made after the initial release of the specified report will not be considered for this market's resolution.Recent Euro area GDP data show 0.4% quarter-on-quarter expansion in Q2 2026, accelerating from flat growth in Q1 and exceeding consensus estimates, supported by AI-related investment and government spending that offset energy-price pressures from Middle East tensions. Annual growth reached 1.0%, with professional forecasters projecting 0.6% for full-year 2026 amid elevated inflation expectations near 2.7%. Key swing factors for Q3 include the durability of domestic demand, potential further energy-cost pass-through, and ECB monetary-policy signals, as markets price in closely contested outcomes across growth buckets reflecting uncertainty over whether momentum sustains or moderates toward historical averages near 0.3-0.4%.
