Dry Southwest Monsoon conditions persisting across Singapore and the region are the main driver positioning 33°C as the market favorite for the September 7 daily maximum, with trader-implied odds reflecting consistent model guidance for fair, occasionally windy weather and limited cloud cover. Official outlooks from the Meteorological Service Singapore indicate maxima of 33–35°C are likely on most early-September days under these southeasterly flows, above the 31.6°C September climatological average, while recent observations and short-range forecasts show peaks near 31–32°C amid haze and minimal rainfall. Brief localized showers or increased afternoon convection remain the key variables that could cap temperatures closer to 32°C, though current dryness and solar heating favor the upper end of the normal range. Official station readings will resolve the market once available.
