Major releases of millions of Epstein-related documents, videos, and images by the Department of Justice in late 2025 and January 2026 under the Epstein Files Transparency Act have produced no new U.S. federal or state criminal charges or indictments. Senior DOJ officials, including Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, have publicly stated that internal reviews found insufficient credible evidence to support additional prosecutions beyond the prior convictions of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. While the disclosures prompted congressional scrutiny and some foreign investigations, the absence of prosecutable developments tied directly to the U.S. files within the market's resolution window supports the strong trader consensus against charges.
