Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Denver indicates a mostly sunny day on September 9 with a high near 80–84 °F, driven by weak high pressure, light northeast winds, and minimal cloud cover or moisture. This places the most probable outcome squarely in the 82–83 °F bin that currently holds a 56.5 % market-implied probability. The preceding week’s warmer readings (mid-90s) reflect a departing ridge, while the current pattern favors modest cooling without significant frontal passage. Historical climatology shows an 81.5 °F average high for the date, providing context for why traders assign only modest weight to outcomes above 85 °F or below 80 °F. Updated model runs and any late-day observations will be the next key inputs before resolution.
