Recent forecast consensus from multiple models points to a September 7 high of 29–30°C in Shanghai, driven by northeasterly winds, extensive cloud cover, and scattered light rain that limits daytime heating. These conditions align with early-September climatology, where average maxima hover near 27–28°C amid transitioning monsoon influences, rather than any anomalous heat buildup. Trader emphasis on the 30°C and 29°C contracts reflects this stable outlook, with limited upside risk from model spreads or unexpected clearing. Updated runs ahead of the date will refine precipitation timing and any minor warming potential.
