The close trader consensus around 30°C (31% implied probability) versus 31°C (24.5%) for Taipei’s September 10 maximum reflects ensemble forecast spread in the final 48-hour window, with models showing modest disagreement on cloud cover, boundary-layer moisture, and any weak frontal passage. Central Weather Bureau guidance and global runs place the expected peak near the seasonal late-summer baseline of 30–32 °C, tempered by urban heat-island effects and sea-breeze moderation. New model cycles and observational updates through September 9 will likely tighten the distribution ahead of market resolution.
