Traders are focusing on the June 2026 FOMC meeting and fresh inflation data as the dominant drivers for gold (XAUUSD) price action during the week of June 15. Market-implied odds for near-term rate policy hinge on the latest CPI print and labor-market readings, with lower real yields and a softer dollar typically supporting gold’s safe-haven demand. Treasury yields and USD strength remain key benchmarks, while any hawkish surprises in Fed guidance could pressure prices. Seasonal positioning ahead of quarter-end and geopolitical risk premiums add to volatility expectations in this high-conviction commodity market.
