Royal Challengers Bengaluru lead the 2026 IPL points table with the strongest recent form and net run rate, building on their 2025 title defense through consistent wins driven by Virat Kohli’s batting and a potent bowling attack featuring Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Gujarat Titans sit close behind with eight victories, powered by Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, and Jos Buttler’s top-order contributions alongside effective death bowling. Sunrisers Hyderabad maintain third place through balanced performances and solid middle-order depth. Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings, and Punjab Kings trail with fewer wins and mixed results, while Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals lag further due to inconsistent results despite notable auction acquisitions like Cameron Green. These standings and momentum trends shape the current trader consensus on playoff and championship paths.
